Michael L. Parson Meat Science Education and Training Laboratory
The Michael L. Parson Meat Science Education & Training Laboratory is a $35 million, 25,000-square-foot facility scheduled to open in August 2026. The building will become one of the most advanced meat science education spaces in Missouri, featuring modern classrooms, workforce training areas and research laboratories focused on meat processing, food safety and innovation in meat science. Designed to support both students and Missouri’s meat processing industry, the facility will provide hands-on learning opportunities and advanced resources for education, training and research.
Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (Dr. Dan Brown Building)
The $43 million Dr. Dan Brown Building, scheduled for completion in April 2027, will house the Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory and provide modern spaces for teaching, research, and diagnostic services. Designed to expand diagnostic capacity while improving biosafety and biosecurity, the facility will support advanced veterinary medicine education and provide updated resources for students, researchers, and animal health professionals.
Radioisotope Science Center
In partnership with the DOE Isotope Program, the RSC will support the development and production of radioactive and stable isotopes for research and applications of strategic importance to the nation.
Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment
The Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopment is strengthening children and families impacted by autism and neurodevelopmental diagnoses through world class programs that integrate research, clinical service delivery, education, and public policy across Missouri and beyond.
Memorial Stadium Centennial Project
Designed to preserve the stadium’s tradition-rich elements while embracing a vibrant future for Mizzou, the $250 million Memorial Stadium Centennial Project will enhance the fan experience by further enclosing the north end of the stadium and adding a variety of new premium seating options along the north edge of the stadium along with other upgrades throughout the facility.
