Project Overview
Approved by the University of Missouri Board of Curators, the $120 million, 116,000-square-foot Payne Energy Innovation Center is slated to open just north of Lafferre Hall in 2028. More than a research building, it will serve as a launchpad for groundbreaking discoveries in energy technology, production, storage, distribution and policy.
