Project Overview:
The Lance and Vance Heflin Memorial Garden, located in the Journalism Courtyard, honors identical twin Mizzou alumni and broadcast journalists Steven “Lance” Heflin and Stewart “Vance” Heflin. The garden features two memorial benches surrounded by seasonal plantings, including creeping phlox. The garden provides a peaceful space to remember the brothers and celebrate their lasting impact on journalism and storytelling.
